The ticket form is what customers use to submit new support requests — either through the customer portal or an embeddable form on your external website.
Configuring the Ticket Form
Navigate to Setup → Support → Settings to configure the ticket form options:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Allow Customers to Open Tickets | Enable/disable customer ticket submission from the portal |
| Allow Non-Logged-In Users | Allow anonymous ticket submission without a portal login |
| Show Priority Field | Let customers set ticket priority when submitting |
| Ticket Form Note | Message displayed above the ticket form |
| Show Department | Show department selector so customer can route their ticket |
Embeddable Ticket Widget
AlgoSphere generates an embeddable snippet you can place on any external website. When a visitor submits the form, a ticket is created directly in AlgoSphere.
- Go to Setup → Support → Settings → Ticket Form Embed.
- Copy the generated HTML/JS snippet.
- Paste it into your website where you want the form to appear.
Custom Fields on the Ticket Form
Add custom fields via Setup → Custom Fields → Tickets. Custom fields can be text, dropdowns, checkboxes, or file uploads — and can be marked as required.
Tip
Add a custom field asking for the customer's order number or account ID to speed up ticket triage.
