Estimates allow you to quote a customer before work begins. Once a customer accepts an estimate, you can convert it into an invoice with a single click.

Creating an Estimate

  1. Go to Sales → Estimates and click New Estimate.
  2. Select the customer and set the estimate date and expiry date.
  3. Add line items, taxes, and discounts.
  4. Click Save or Save and Send.

Estimate Statuses

Customer Acceptance

The customer receives a link to view the estimate online. They can click Accept or Decline directly from the browser — no login required. When accepted, the status updates automatically and you receive an in-app notification.

Converting an Estimate to Invoice

Open an accepted estimate and click Convert to Invoice. AlgoSphere creates a new invoice with all line items pre-populated. You can edit it before sending.

Delete Restriction

By default, AlgoSphere only allows deletion of the most recently created estimate. You can change this under Setup → Settings → Finance.
